I voted for him purely on the grounds of the tremendous

First Liberal for years to be elected for Ladywood that included Nechells  O0

Les,my uncle Horace Round who lived at 191 Inker man St opened rtcCrisps in Saltley Rd in the 50s almost next to the Pub in Cato Street & another Uncle had had the fruit shop on the opposite corner.I worked for him in my school holidays and Saturdays with my father who fried the crisps & Scratchings.
i worked in Devon st as a apprentice and on the way home i would get some bags of crisps from there.
what happend to the company

My grandparents and mother, sunts, uncles were born in Gt.Francis street and  Northumberland street they lived in these streets in 1913 up to 1936.
