Evening All
CATHCART STREET,,ALMONDS..YOU MUST BE NUTS.
I was born at 41, Blown out of 62 and raised at 59 with a great new mom and dad.
When I started at Loxton Street school six of us had new parents.
I really do wish I had put together a book with Ed,The Vauxhall Boys.
I did write about other things so pleased about that. These days the pen has run dry.
Very best wishes
Gerald.

G/Day mate ,I used to live on the opposite corner to Disternals shop in Inkerman st . Seems you are well set in Queensland what a super place Brummies sure get around, we have been to OZ  four times in the last 12years and travelled round quite a lot the last time spent time in TASMANIA ,loved it there. WE have a son in Melbourne, don't think we will go to OZ again its just too far and we are getting old. We have just returned to Brum after 23 years away need to get my brummie boots back on.
If its Disternals its a cousin of mine they owned food shops in Wednesbury and a factory there making Carraige locks and are Burried at St Barts Church there. I didnt know they had shops in Dudeston or Neachels. The ladies were known for their excentricity. My mother who was related ran errands to Disturnals . So the shop was Inkerman Street, is that Neachells. It rings a bell as I used to live in Brum
