Roy, Where the blazes was Gringdalford Road?

Yes now I,ve been remined it was both the 51 and 52, one of them
went down Beeches Rd.opp the Beacon Cinema, cant remember very well.
The Scott Arms shopping area was the terminus for ages, then the bus began
to follow the Mid /red route to Walsall, both buses went past my home..../

Jasper the 52 went down Beeches Road opposite the Clifton Cinema, I'm not sure whether it went along Gringleford Road though

Roy

Your confidence in me warms the cockles of my heart, but I have to warn you if I get north of Aston I am lost. My only experience of those places was on the rare occasion we were let into Sutton Park. There used to be armed guards on all the stations north of Aston to make sure we didn't get off the train until we reached Sutton and then we were escorted down to the town gate and it was the same on the return journey.

Seriously I haven't a clue, but I am reading up on Erdington, Sutton, Kingstanding, New Oscott and the rest of the places around there, but its not like reading about the places you know, therefore it takes time to digest.

Sorry Mate.

Phil

Jasper we've covered the topic of the Scott Arms on several occasions as well as the Cafe in the Beacon which we both used at different times, if the 'Search Button' to the site was reintroduced it would make up for the lapses in our memories LOL.

The Midland Red service between Birmingham and Walsall was the 118
