My grand father Sidney Hill told me that his father James Hill was responsible for starting the boot fund charity with the Birmingham Mail . Can any one confirm this. Also that a place was put up ???

Hi,
I wonder if you could tell me where the images of the boys getting their free boots comes from? Is it the Birmingham Mail? I wish to use it in a book I'm writing to be published later in the year.
