CHARACTERS IN THE BULLRING
« on: January 11, 2009, 11:24:46 AM »
HI ALL
DOES ANYONE REMEMBER SOME OF THE CHARACTERS YOU HAD IN THE BULLRING MANY YEARS AGO. THERE WAS THE ESCAPEE WHO  CHAINED HIMSELF IN CHAINS OR A STRAITJACKET HE WOULD GET SOMEONE IN THE CROWD TO LOCK THE LOCKS ON THE CHAINS OR STRAITJACKET THEN HE WOULD TWIST & CONTORT  & ESCAPE. THEN THERE WAS AN OLD LADY & HER DAUGHTER FLOWER SELLERS. IN FACT I POPPED IN TO THE BULLRING SOME YEARS AGO THERE WAS HER DAUGHTER STILL SELLING FLOWERS THEN GETTING ON IN YEARS HERSELF. SHE HAD GLOWING CRAGGY FACE DUE TO ALL THE YEARS OUT IN ALL WEATHERS. THE KIND OF FACE AN ARTIST WOULD LOVE TO PAINT. I'M AFRAID ALL THATS GONE NOW IN FACT ITS QUITE BORING IN THE BULLRING NOW. Andy,
Never had the patience to wait for the bloke to escape from the chains.  He could stretch it out with an intent to fill his cap with more coppers.  Me I got fed up of waiting and walked on.  Mind you I never put into his hat so cannot complain.
