last chance were was it i cant remember phil


Pete as far as I remember it was at the Lichfield Road end of Waterworks Road, previously Bannings Tyre Sales.
Phil died in 2020. RIP.

hi iv spent Meany a night in the last chance playing on the pin ball  m/c  then having a breakfast going home. at weekends some of the top rock  bands would turn up after a gig  in brum

A bit late on this topic but my parents ran the Last Chance in the mid 60's

                            well come to the forum  i must know your mom or dad iv spent Meany a night in the last chance sleeping   80p per night for b/b or 16 shillings in  old money  good bed good food

Glad you enjoyed it, they were Ethel and Alan, sadly no longer with us.

the food was always good and they looked after us and it was all ways clean   ok you got spilt tea on the floor it was always nice in there

A bit late on this topic but my parents ran the Last Chance in the mid 60's
We would visit there mid sixties to get our sandwiches for our 1am meal break when I worked for Stockland Coaches, used to work Friday and Saturday night getting the coaches repaired ready for the early morning tours.
