It does't make any difference what the wearer looks like.
Stockings and suspenders are the icing on the cake, frame around the picture full stop.
Even when worn by that bloke in the Hamlet advert years ago or Freddy Mercury there is something about them.

I used to wear tights, best thing since sliced bread, I never had chaffed legs and they seemed warm, my mates, used to laugh, but then they wore them, and have done so ever since.
( before you start to think I've done the other way,) I used to work with horse's, and I was riding almost all day, and would get saddle soar...and they do help to stop most of the chaffing on your legs,

An 'aside'.

When I mentioned Freddie Mercury wearing stockings it never occurred to me that somebody else on this forum who uses his avatar would have the same predilection. Now far be it for me to pre-judge anyone but what denier do you find most practicable? not that I'm interested enough to buy a pair from that shop in the arcade in Manchester  ;) ;)
