Hello Sylvb
Welcome to the Forum and the family, Anything you want to know about Brum just ask and tramp or Phil will give you a well informed answer. tramp lives in the Dominican Republic and Phil wishes he did, I am still here working as an unpaid caretaker of our fine city. Phil is a very able archivist, who manages to find pictures from before the days when camera's were invented. tramp kows more than is good for anyone, I think he has a camera on every corner, and a microphone in every kitchen.  How long have you been living in WA.    SB

Hi Astra
Yes I remember The last of the Mohicans.

The programme on the Telly was " Hawkeye and the last of the Mohicans" with Chingachcook played By Lon Chaney, and the Iraquois (I think that's how you spell it) indians. I watched that in the black and white days when many people got shot or knifed, but there was never any blood and no-one died.

Hi again slyvb,

You have unfortunately been made aware that the unpaid city caretaker has a decidedly uncontrollable pen that breaches the libel laws on a daily basis - this is why sheldonboy was ''relieved of his onerous duties'' and thus is now the former volunteer city caretaker. ;D

He's actually not a bad lad, even though he has a guillotine fetish, just be careful at feeding time...many a hand, and head, have been lopped for the drop. ::)

sheldonboy,

As I've spent most of life out of UK, and in several countries without tv, my knowledge of UK programmes is patchy to the say the least - this may also have something to do with the fact that I hardly watched tv when I was in UK - I preferred programmes with David Jason's Dell boy on the one hand and Frost on the other - more Ronnie Barker than the other one.  The upshot is that I cannot contribute a single western to your list - assuming they are all westerns.

You should have stuck with ''Listen With Mother'' and learned a bit!  O0

On second thoughts, are you sure that you weren't the ghostwriter for Mrs Dale's Diary? ;D

Boots and Saddles was a great programme I remember, The old american cavalry with loads loads of horse an gun fights, and of course the Injuns always lost.

I just thought of another one Alias Smith and Jones.  SB
