Hi Tim
I know its a little off thread but what are the other two cars I can see in the garage. They look like a Wolseley and a Riley, are they?
If vintage vehicles are your interest why not start a thread on the history board I'm sure you will get lots of members join in.

Hi Phil
Those cars are in fact my dads collection plus a few others The one is a Wolseley Wasp 1936, and the other is a Talbot 10 Airline saloon which he has recently sold to someone in Coventry.

Hi Tim
You must tell us a little about your dads collection of vehicles and show us a few photos. I have to say I don't remember Wimbushs vans being green. I have a memory of them being a wine & cream colour or perhaps I'm thinking of another firm.

My husband was a driver for A.D.Wimbush in 1962/1963 he remembers the number of the van he drove, it was 5619 VP, his name is Bob Jenkins, two of the other drivers names he remembers were Pete Masters and Ernie Bagley.
