Those are the ones Nathan, all good pubs in their time. I haven't a clue what they are like now. The last gaffer of the Brighton I knew was Jimmy Rushton a wily fox if there ever was one but a good bloke.

If you had been talking about The Old Mo in Tindal Street, then I would say yes it is a good pub. Back in the late 50's it was a bit of a dump. A chap who was later to become a good friend of mine took it over. He turned it into one of the best little pubs in the district with a reputation that it still holds good today.

You are talking about the pub that I always knew as the Clock. Now I drank in there a lot in the 60's as I used a café over the road on the corner of George St. At that time the back smoke room was frequented a lot by ladies of the evening.

I knew they had changed the name of the pub to The New Moseley Arms most likely to cash in on the popularity of the Old Mo. But I didn't know they had changed the name again to just The Moseley Arms.

Sorry mate I had forgotten about The Moseley Arms on the corner of Ravenhurst St. It very well may be a good house now. Years back it didn't have a very good reputation and I would much rather have used the Adam & Eve or The Shepherds rest both on Bradford St.
