Roy,

Why not leave it as it is, as it gives some light relief - I'm certain that any smiles have come from that, and NOT from the ''lost and found'' posts - not that anyone's been found yet. Still, early days, let's hope and KEEP SMILING :)

I also think it should be left as it is...... The more posts the better...!   ;)

I'd put the Alan Messenger post up after the first one....?

It's on it's own on Birmingham chat and is probably the reason why this thread was started.....?

It's also a post from someone new and not one from the usual suspects.....

Is Anthony Robinson out there? He lived not to far from Woodcock St?

He went to St Vincents R C Junior School until age 11 and I haven't heard tell of him since....

The truth always prevails.....

Malta,

It's not necessary, I never occured to me to take it that way.  We had 2 Mr White's as teachers at Clifton Rd, and I never met another White until I went to work in Africa, would you believe  ;D

Roy,

We've inadvertantly ended uop at cross purposes  - I meant ''please don't take any out of the thread'' but I'd be happy for you to import from other threads. leaving a cross-reference note of the transfer on the original thread - how does that strike you?

As the name Alan Messenger will mean little to most, it might have been better, especially for NEW members and GUESTS, to give the thread the name that it has just lost.

1.     What I meant roy ben to do was to leave the old title as it was.....?

2.     Leave in roy ben's first post, as it explained what the thread was all about....?

3.     Then post Alan Messenger as the lead into the topic.....?

Bingo! Simple! I think the thread has now lost its way ...?   Shame  :'(
