Hello, I'm looking for anybody - family if possible, who knows/knew a Frederick David Butlin, dob around 1934. Think he lived off Longmore street (possibly a road beginning with H though not hope street) near Basall Heath. Pretty sure he was an only child.

Heard he may have gone to live in London with relatives in the late 50's, early 60's but unsure if that was just a rumour.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Thank you

Hello again Forum users. I have been trying, with some difficulty to find relatives of Barry and Mavis Wood(s) of Sparkbrook (address unknown) but knownaround the Turner Street/Larches Street/Ladypool Road/Stoney Lane area. It is a delicate matter therefore I am keeping it as private as possible for the time being. Any help would be very welcome. Thank you all for your time.  :)

Hello!

I am on a quest for information pertaining to my great grandmother Alice Frances Bevan. She was born in 1892 to Harry and Elizabeth (we believe) Bevan. She had a brother, William Henry, and a sister, Ada.
Her father married Elizabeth Gannon (nee Knowles). Both families resided at Oxford St, 48 and 49 respectively in 1899, the year of the marriage.

On the application for Middlemore's Children's home, the address given was 36 Piggott St. Alice came to Canada in 1905. Her stepmother stated that she was naughty and prone to pilpher...

Thanks to ancestry.ca, we have a dna match to someone who appears to be a great granddaughter of Williams.

Alice died in 1921 three months after my grandmother was born. Her fifth child. Hence the lack of information at our end.

Hopeful to find photos, info, direction anything really...

Thanks so much!

Alison

Hi,
I'm looking for information regarding my father, Percy Messenger. He was born in 1897 and lived(according to the census) in Argyll Street.
He worked at Big Dipper Motors (cant find any history of it) and would like to get more information on that. He moved to Romsley, Worcestershire around 1960.

Big ask, but you never know...
Thanks in advance.

Hello!

I am looking for anyone with any knowledge of anyone who lived in a house of multiple occupancy/ boarding house in the 1940s through to 1972ish when it was knocked down to make way for a new estate.
The address was - 30 Wheeleys Road, Edgbaston. I am looking for any information at all about Oliver Watson (my grandfather) who lived there at least for the years above. We do not know where he went after that.
Any information about anyone else who lived there that may have known Oliver would also be useful as we have practically zero information about him.

Thank you in advance
