Needless Alley ran from Temple Row to New Street and as far as I am aware is still there today.

Here is one for you old Balsall Heath reprobates. Orchard Rd from Belgrave Rd. You can even see the House of Horror in the background Sherbourne Rd School with the School Clinics Dental Department.

I wonder did June Shakespeare, stay in America, or did she come back to Orchard rd, and for thoses who did'nt know the Road, the houses you see on the left ( the first three anyway) where at the back of the Mosley Rd flea pit....J2

i remember has a child sitting by the lamp post with a small stick pocking the ants nest that was by the lamp looking at it, it seems just like yesterday i come from school st patricks up frank street out on to the belgave road and up the hill on my way to the school clinic roy

This is Regents Row in the Jewellery Quarter off Warstone Lane. The first photo was taken in 1900 and the other 108 years later by myself in 2008.
There is hardly any difference at all.

I used to work in Regents Place when i was down the Quarter,we used to walk down Regents Row to get into Warstone Lane. I think it was the old brick work on both sides then , it wasnt rebuilt until Tenby Electrics moved in there. Rob
