Hi there,
The Post Card showing 'Yarley Wood' is definitely Prince of Wales Lane. The guys with the cart are standing outside No84 where I lived from 1951 to 1964.
It was almost next door to The Warstock pub going towards the Elbief Factory.
Great stuff!

Kelly’s 1966/67 directory lists  The Candy Shop round Yardley Wood and Greenford Roads would that be the one ?

Good call Des Morgans , Leslie Raymond newsagt located at 240 Prince of Wales Lane , it looks as though the are more than one shop which may have sold sweets, not being familiar with the area, I nominated The Candy Store at 155 POW lane .

I am sure it was Morgans, I am talking about the shop opposite Gorlaston rd.... there are other shops further on down towards Yardley Wood by the Fish n Chip shop I believe there was another sweet shop there which late became a Wines and Spirits and then a general store......
