Phil was it close to the pub facing the Accident hospital?

Scipio,

It was next door to the Trees public house in between the garage and the pub, just up from Wheeleys Lane

That right, but I though her name was Zerena or something like that, she also had a brother who was a little younger than her. I can't remember his name now, but they both hung around Balsall Heath in the cafes there in the early 60's. As a matter of fact Zerena was a big friend of one of the Phyllis's that I knew but unfortunately not the one Wendy mentioned.

Zarina is a Muslim name and Saleem is Arabic so they could both equally be Egyptian.

You are just as likely to be right as me, I'm not very good with names. I can't even remember her brothers name and I knew him reasonably well though he was a year or so younger than myself.

A bit further up just before the bend in the road , more or less facing Communication Row , I used to court a young lady of mixed race . That was very short though Phil

My mum lived on Communication row...that's probably why she used the B&W cafe.
