Does anyone have a photo of Joe Lyons café Colmore Row? I have looked all through this thread and cant find one anywhere.
Was it a vision, or a waking dream?

Hi Wendy,

welcome to the forum

Being honest Smokeys was not a regular haunt of mine being a bit far out though I did use it on occasion though I wasn't what you could call a regular and being honest again although I did know a couple of girls named Phyllis in the 60's but they did not use Smokey Joes.
Phil died in 2020. RIP.

Thank you...My mum used Smokeys alot.  Also the Black & white cafe in Ladywood.  She remembers them days like yesterday.  I used to be pushed in a pram there.  Not that I remember.
