  • For those of you that watch earlyevening TV, you might like to look out for a local vehicle, Wheels / MidlandRed Coaches 1968 Bristol RE RELH coach, on “Priceless" to be broadcast at6:30pm on Tuesday February 2nd on BBC2.
Driver on the daywas Ashley Wakelin.
A spin off from the AntiquesRoadshow, “Priceless” features Fiona Bruce, and was filmed during 2009 inconjunction with the Clarice Cliff Collectors Club and features the red andblack liveried coach in scenes around Stoke on Trent.
You either love or hate ClariceCliff pottery (I can’t stand it), but she was important in the heritage of the Potteries.Scenes were filmed at many areas of her life, from her apartment, the Collegeof Art where she studied’ to where her factory once stood.

The Bristol, now in the livery ofMidland Red Coaches, has an interesting history.
Built in 1968 for Royal Blue, it hasan Eastern Coachworks 45 seat body and operated their prestigious servicesbetween London and the South West of England.
In 1975 it was parked in Bournemouthcoach station when fire broke out  inanother nearby bus and was damaged, it was fortunate in that it was fullyrebuilt and re-entered service later in 1976.
