School Photographs
« on: February 15, 2010, 08:30:39 PM »
Many of us did not have a copy of School Photos when they were taken or maybe they have lost them since.
Lets stir some memories. Here's one to start with.

Mr Morley's class of 1948 at Bournville School.

I would be pleased to hear from anyone on the photo.

Hi Potblack,

Great school photos.  I started at Institute Road, King's Heath in 1953.  I certainly recognise the scenes in those two pictures.

I remember them taking portraits and a large photo of the whole class each year. I can also remember taking them home on approval but we probably didn't buy them or they have been lost.

Thanks for sharing yours.

Hi Mike22
I don't see your photo.
I guess we all make mistakes at 3 in the morning!

Here's another one from Bournville in 1948.
This time it's 'Daddy' Barkers class.
. 'Daddy' Barker would take a run down the corridor before whacking the the backside of the unfortunate pupil who remained bent over whilst waiting for the next whack! !
