 Hi all  Great to see these old school photos  . I have some of the school I went to  St Georges  at Beaufort Rd  Lady wood and you can track them down on  Old Mack of Ladywood website   Cheers  Joe

That's a great photo of Daddy Barker's class.  I guess we all had at least one teacher during our school days who had that sort of technique with the cane !

I am sorry I do not have any more photo's regarding st clement's school however I have seen a photo of a class of children in the play ground of the school in a publication some time back but I can not remember the book or magazine in was in I know it was the school because it had newtons factory in the background.

          thanks for info shall keep an eye open for the book as a matter of fact the last time i looked at st clements was from the drawing office window at newtons aged 15 and an apprentice toolmaker 1963 i dont know how long it lasted after that but still happy memories
