Thanks for the welcomes I've received. My Jobbins side of the family as I said originated in London, but my great great grandfather moved here and married an Agnes Chinn from Coventry. After that all the Jobbins came from the Summer Lane, Highgate area. The Hansons and Reddings from Aston, Ladywood, Highgate, Digbeth and Deritend areas, and Guest from Redditch. I was born in St Martins Flats (Vaughton Street and Dymoke Street).
I love my City, but sometimes must admit I dispair of some of things that happen to it, sometimes think that in the big plan of things a lot of politicians don't think we exist. But we are the best!
