Hello HarryB,
Welcome to the best forum in town, you've made a fine choice
I was never a real supporter of any of them as a nipper tho' I went to St Andrews most as I did the round on Saturday morning with the milkman and part of the pay was he took me there after taking the electric cart back - I liked Gil Merrick, a gentleman as well as a very fine keeper.
...I've supported Liverpool for well over 50 years since I saw them beaten 9-1 there, before Shanks - the baying blues ''fans'' came out with the worst I'd ever seen till then, so, having a leaning to the underdog and being let's say 'independently' minded, the Reds got their newest supporter - and I've obviously never regretted it.
I saw Barcelona at St Andrews in the old Fairs Cup, liked what I saw, and have supported them since - again no regrets esp in recent years Naturally my second team in PL is anyone that beats Mancs. Lived in Scotland in some of the days Dalglish was at Liverpool, and my mate was a Celt, so I look out for them.
Who do you support?
