Hi Gaz
Welcome to the mad world of Birmingham Forum   Enjoy

My friends and I used to go to Peppers, thought we were the bees knees in our dresses with little bits of fur round the neck and the lads in their Ben Sherman Shirts

Did you go to a youth club in Station Rd ? I think it was in a big white house , there was a Disco on a Friday night can't remember what it was called

Mogmeister, I remember 'The Old Horns' very well. We use use to go to a Disco there on a Friday night in about 1971 when we were all 'Skinheads'.
Also remember 'Scofields' when it use to be called 'The Trees', and 'The Deers Leap'.

Friend of mine (Ernie) used to be a bouncer at the Queens in the late sixties, not sure if he was still there when it changed to peppers.
