Re your first photo, now we know where it is, but you have to tell us what it is. What is that odd construction and what was it built for?

I know very little about it other than it was a fountain and water feature in a posh area of Birmingham, I'll see what I can dig up about it.

No sorry Pam, but a good attempt and not that far away really. Within a couple of miles as the crow flies I would think. This is an old photo so the road layout may have changed a little. It was taken in 1900, but the church remains the same.
