Another place I remember very well. from the time I spent painting a friends house as a 18 year old that he had built at [censored] we used to pass through Astwood Bank quite often on the way to Redditch when being cooped up in the caravan got too much and we needed to let off steam.

yes phil its astwood bank  in the 1950s   c.d.m  for you to

answer      to the question  why do I put noddy on the photos its simples because if you put you mouse pointer on the photo and right click your mouse 90%of the time it will tell you about the photo but if you put some thing like noddy in the photo it then makes it hard for the computer to find the photo and tell you where it is  O0 O0 O0 O0 O0

If posters spent more time getting around the UK and their own locality instead of holidaying abroad and giving their money to all the countries of the EU that they are always complaining about then perhaps there would be no need to look up where these photos are located. They would know from memory.

How about this one, the only thing I will tell you at this point is that it's not in Birmingham or it's vicinity.

There is the remains of a wall close by, but this is the remains of a structure, if you can  name what it once was then we would be part of the way to finding it's location, which in fact is what I am after.

It is the remains of a Roman fort but it's nowhere near Hadrain's Wall
