I used to drink in a pub in Arthur St before going to watch the Blue's that was in the 60s....

Would that have been the Prince Arthur, at the junction of Bordesley Park Road, top right of the hill on this photo.

Prince Arthur pub was half way down Arthur Street it was almost oppersit our entry.
We lived at 3/84 Arthur Street.

The Prince Arthur,that's the one we had some great sessions in there, with the lovely locals as well, I can remember a Irish lady you used to sell the raffle tickets or run a card, she would get everybody laughing on match days....if I remember right there was a scrap metal firm just before you got on to the Coventry RD......

The Prince Arthur was a pub that I never used, but I have no doubt that I passed it many times. If anybody has a photo of it I would like to get hold of a copy for my collection.

Williams iron and steel scrap metal merchants were in Arthur st before moving to New Bond Street  about 1971
