That's a hard one, the church could be anywhere. Lovely photos though.

I don't think it is St Mary's Hamstead Rd unless the entrance has been altered.

I believe it is ST Michael's C of E Church on st Michael's road Handsworth B18 5LA
as the doorway and the windows look the same to me also the angle of the foot path.as seen on google street view.

I have to agree with you, it does look a pretty good match. I have put the original photo alongside a view from Google. It's a shame that I can't get a better view from Google. Perhaps if its important potblack will pop along with the photo ans see if it marches in the flesh so to speak.
