I was trying to work it out based on the two tower blocks on the right, the BT tower (centre) and the church steeple on the left, but it's giving me a head ache. :-\
Possibly somewhere around the Jewellery Quarter area or the NIA?

Cambridge tower extreme left I used to live on the 14th floor , Crescent tower to the right of it , there are another two out of shot , the road leading down from there to St Vincents Street is  King Edwards Rd those blocks are actually behind the Hall of Memory. Behind those buildings in the background Summer Row leading down to the Sandpits
If voting made any difference , they wouldn't let us do it.

Thanks Scipio But what's the name of the street in the photo?

Was it a vision, or a waking dream?

A rather special photo of the number 50 bus terminus in Albert Street in the City in the early 60's. You might ask "what is special about it?" and I would reply "Because it has managed to capture an image of my grandmother on a shopping trip to town".  She is the lady in the large check coat crossing the road on the right of the photo.

Not half as much as I did when I saw this one of a man crossing over Digbeth by Allison Street in the early 50's. It's my dad!

Roy that scenario just would'nt have been possible, at the time my mother had left my father and taken me and my sister to scotland to live with her grandmother. The mother of my gran in the photo, if they had met in the street I fear she would have been bloodshed not by my father but by my nan.
