Whilst we are in the Rubery area, here is New Road and the Rubery Cinema that used to be more or less opposite the New Rose & Crown public house.

I guess that is where Farm Foods is now.

Sorry Judith its been a long time since I was down Rubery way, all I can do is give you a map showing where the cinema was. I note on the map it is described as a cinema club. It wasn't one of those dirty mac cinemas was it?

Ah, it's a little further up then, the Co-op is on that site.  What's marked on the map as 'Garage' is where Farm Foods is.

We are now in Balsall Heath outside Belgrave House Moseley Road, which I believe was between Highgate Road and Ombersley Road. Anybody got any idea what make of car that was parked outside the photographers next door, anything to do with Reliant?

I don't think it's a Reliant.

Morgan tended to have there 3 wheelers with 2 at the front, as did most.  Intriguing.

I know Judith, other 3 wheelers I have looked at have two wheels at the front. Anyway I think the first Reliant Robin appeared in 1973 which was a lot later than this photo.

Blucher Street off Holloway Head from the Craven Arms to Commercial Street in 1964, being used for a bus diversion route at the time by the looks of it.

I've been doing a bit of Internet searching and there was a Raleigh Safety 7 that looks about right.  Made around the mid 30's.
