Changed a bit now a dual carriageway Pedestrian Crossing with Lights no buses, The 29 used to Terminate there. Useful park and ride if you get up early. The Sherwood pub gone think its Behans Bar now.

John Bright Street in 1927 showing a part of an order of 50 Jowett 4 seater cars parked in that street that had been purchased by the London Metropolitan police Force from C W Hyde Motor Car Dealers originally Cycle dealers of John Bright Street.

Its 1987 and this is the junction of Balden Road and Hampton Park Road in Harborne just at the end of Court Oak Road.

The latest I can check is the mid 70's and those shops were there then (they have changed now) So I suppose its entirely possible they were still there in the 80's.

I'm not doubting that the picture could be '80's as per your post (it's tagged 1987), but the shop & posters just look old fashioned.  It looks nice.

I believe the Photo was taken in 1963  8th of March to be precise
