We used to live in Wash Lane, nearby. It even survived the underpass.
Shame it was knocked down but Brum seems fond of doing that!

In 1956 M&Baxters office staff held their Xmas Party at the Swan.Because I worked in the garage I was invited,I was 17.Thinking I was great for being invited I mixed with all the staff all night and quite a few bought my drinks.I was drinking Rum and Aniseed.At the end of the night I was gone and sliipped down the stairs.Someone put me in their car and drove me to my house.Was I embarrassed on the Monday and hid from everyone
