Many Thanks John, Yes after 5 years of nursing him it was very hard to say goodbye. He was always such a active & capable man so it was hard for him to.My wonderful sons & daughters are a great comfort to me.

Hi Chris, :)

Would just like to say how lucky I was to happen upon the Birmingham Forum.
I have sat here at my computer for almost 3 hours reliving my youth through 2 superb people on here - Andy Capp and John 2000.

I have posted my bit of information in the hopes someone remembers me or mum.

What a joy, so glad I dropped by and will most certainly keep in touch.

Thanks a million, Bargain Corner, 195 Balsall Heath Road.

Hi to everyone,

I'm Langstraat/langy or anything else you'd like to call me.
I joined on Monday after searching for a suitable site like this.
Originally from Great Barr/Four Oaks.
Parents from Handsworth.
I worked in Birmingham for 11 years.

I'll warn you now I tend to go on a bit but generally in a light manner. I note from other comments that there is a need to invigorate the site and will do my best to stimulate interest. :)
Never argue with an idiot, they'll drag you down to their level and try to beat you with experience.

Hi Lizzy,

Sorry to hear of your great loss. If it's any comfort there is more to death than life (if you know what I mean) I've been gone and come back so many times now that I'm getting to be an expert!

Love, Graham.

Hi everyone (again),

While I'm on line and there are so many new members since I was last here, I'll ask again if anyone knew my uncle Denis Webb and his wife Joyce? They lived at Starbank Road, Small Heath, Birmingham. I realize that there is not much chance of them still being alive but they did have at least two children. One was called Antony, born in 1946 and one called Barry, born in 1949. If you know or knew of them please drop me a line on this forum.

Graham.
