Hi Folks

just wanted to introduce myself and say hello.

Ive lived in Birmingham my whole life, mostly in the Moseley/Kings Heath area.  I joined this site today with an intention to plug my musical efforts, but I probably wont be able to resist joining in the chat - I already chat about local matters online at The Stirrer and the yahoo groups "Moseley and Kings Heath" and "Moseley Free".

I book and promote stand up comedy, am just getting started as a solo musician (playing piano and singing) and produce events as co-founder of a creative collective called Project X Presents.

Heres some links to follow in case youre interested:

thanks, and all the best

Rich

Welcome Mazbeth,

You've taken your time migrating to here from over there  :D
I look forward to the posts you may share with us.
I'm sure they'll be as well received as elsewhere.

Welcome Mazbeth,

You've taken your time migrating to here from over there  :D
thanks Langstraat

yes I registered I think it was last December - but I couldn't log in.
I sent a message by e-mail to the Admin but never got a reply, so forgot about it. Then yesterday had an e-mail with the link in, out of the blue, and found I could log in.
Not sure what had changed technically, but when I logged in there was a message about passwords being updated or something.

migrating from where by the way?
Let those that love us, love us. And those that don't, may God turn their hearts. And, if He cannot turn their hearts, May He turn their ankles so we may know them by their limping!- Irish blessing

As an occasional visitor to the site may I also welcome you Teresa.
May you enjoy your time posting and getting well and truly involved in the site.
Sort of looks like us lads are going to be in the minority and will have to watch our p's and q's.

Now I have a query.  How come this site is starting to blossom?  I remember at one time wondering how long before the plug was pulled and now we are off with a mixer.
OK come on let us all know - Whose changed their aftershave or deodorant.? ::)

Bannion......... remember "it's all in the book", and Church, a lot of people here don't even believe in them selves, let alone a god.?? and it was that, that almost killed this forum.....
