Free Choral Workshop for Men

Canoldir Male Choir will be hosting a free Vocal Workshop on 10th March 2012 and we invite men of all ages and abilities whether complete novices or existing male choristers.

If you have an interest in music and a love for singing and wondered just what it would be like to sing with a choir, then this is your chance to come along and find out what its all about and learn how to develop your vocal technique.For those who belong to an existing choir or have sung with a choir in the past, you are welcome to come along and find out more about Canoldir.  We recently won Best UK Choir and Best Large Choir at the Cornwall International Male Choral Festival 2011 and we invite you to come along and learn the secrets of our success; we would love to share them with you.One such secret, impossible to hide, is our fantastic musical director James Llewelyn Jones. James has conducted Canoldir since 2006 and since then he has led Canoldir to great success.


So come along and learn a song with the choir, develop your vocal techniques and make new friends.

The Vocal Workshop is from 2.00pm to 4.30pm, which includes a 30 minute break for light refreshments and a chance to chat and get to know our existing choir members.The Vocal Workshop will be held at our rehearsal venue: the Welsh Chapel, Loveday Street, Birmingham, B4 6NR,. In addition to the vocal experience, you will receive information about choirs within the West Midlands, for those wishing to take the plunge and join a choir and you will also receive an audio CD of our winning performance at the 2011 Cornwall International Male Choral Festival.And donĎt forget ..  Itís absolutely FREE.No, we wonít even charge you for the refreshments!
