Fred I found this answer.  A  continuous  line  of  buildings  along  a  street. That was like most streets in Birmingham but only a few named Row.
Was it a vision, or a waking dream?

Looking to establish my Grandfather's WW1 Regiment, I recently got a copy of my Mother's birth cert. and find that she was born in Garbett St , Sub district of Ladywood.
I can't find Garbett St in my (80s) A-Z, does anyone know where it used to be please ?

Garbett Street ran from Summer Hill Road to Shakespeare Rd across King Edward road, and now lies under Acorn Grove, Daley Close, and Kelsall Croft. Lower middle right of map.

Fred
Garbett street was most likely cleared in the slum clearance of the early 60s
