Most people from Birmingham knew of Varna Road during the late 40s 50s and 60s, I was told it was known all over the world whether that was true or not I don't know, but I knew somebody who went down there a lot (no it was not me)......the guy did tell me however it was a sad day when the area was demolished, he went on to say he went to the closing down sale and he was not disappointed, he said it was money well spent..... :D

Yes shame that about Varna road. My friend used to live there.
Was it a vision, or a waking dream?
