SATURDAY 15TH DECEMBER
9.30AM - 5.00PM

An opportunity for students to experience the pressures of corporate graduate selection in a safe environment, an environment where you can make mistakes and learn from them – thus ensuring you raise your chances of success during the real test!

WORKSHOP DETAILS

A full day workshop where you will work in a small group of between 6 - 18 likeminded students and obtain practical experience:

·         Introduction – why companies use assessment centres and how you can make an impact

·         A group exercise – to assess teamwork, leadership and communication skills

·         An individual presentation - with group feedback, discussion and outcomes

·         Competency based panel interview – experience being the candidate and the recruiter

·         Summary – discuss learning and action planning for future success

BENEFITS

·         Meet real assessors and find out what they look for in candidates

·         Practise answering competency based interview questions and learn from your mistakes

·         Experience interviewing from the recruiter’s mind and improve on your answers and interview technique

·         Experience participating in a group feedback discussion in a safe environment

·         Be coached and assessed by professional and qualified career consultants, many of whom also act as assessors during live corporate graduate assessment centres
