Sheep street and Lawrence street

trying to find any 1950s photos of sheep street and lawrence street gosta green.I lived in sheep st from 1951-1962.Love to see any old photo memories.

Welcome to you, I'm sure there are photos of Lawrence St & Sheep St on the forum. Try using the search engine and see what you come up with in the meantime take a look at these.

Was Sheep st where the school clinic was? and Kyrle Hall im sure that was where we used to do boxing training. could be completely wrong. 1950s

hi billy boy66,thanks for your reply. you are right we lived next to the shop in sheep street.we used to play in the big back yard and on the big at  raid shelter.we lived there from 1951-1962.
i had some great friends there.be nice to get in touch with any that new me or my family.

Edwin we lived i A terrace Lawrence, You must have lived by Michael Cowley and the Crosgrove family,

Yes Charles the Cosgroves lived opposite us and michael Cowley lived on the corner in Lawrence St.
Wonderful days. I loved it there as a kid. I remember the Banks,Days and chicks in Lawrence st
