Roy I have been worker, manager,  director owner and have been seen it all. If my salary was being reduced by a grand I would get on my bike and find another job. It was a long bike ride to Hong Kong, but now as a retired person I live on my U K State pension, 2 company pensions, a private pension I bought myself and Hong Kong elderly allowances. Because my income is split between 2 tax regimes, I pay no more than£10 to £20 per year happy I took charge of my own destiny instead of relying on others and definitely not sponging on the State
