Hi All, here is a picture of the (new) new inns on great Lister street, I think it was built late sixty's early seventy's and had change the name to the graduate. It is now a restaurant.

My nan and grandad ran the new inns in the late 1940s. My mum was born in the pub in 1950.

Hi Gunn 75 have you a photo of the old new inns. when your nan and granddad ran it.
Was it a vision, or a waking dream?

I remember the New Inns very well,as I worked for Whites removals next door. And after work we all used to go and have a pint or two of Ansells.

My dad had the old New inns in 66 and when a bus came through the wall we moved into the green man while they built the new one

If my memory is correct, when the "New Inns" Great Lister Street/ Windsor Street, Nechells, was built in the early 1950s,
It was managed by a Mr and Mrs Masters, who's son Arthur was at Eliot Street School, at the same time as myself, 1943/1953
Can anyone on the forum confirm this please..
