Bannion I knew some very nasty people in Brum who would think nothing of cutting your throat, shooting you, not a problem. The Krays would not have stood a chance and neither did the police.
Was it a vision, or a waking dream?

Not that I know a lot about them but I've heard say the Chamberlain family, father and son did a lot for this growing city in the 20's and 30's.  Being idle I have not looked back on the entries so apologies for putting their names forward again if they have been referred to earlier.  Anyone with greater knowledge of the family who would disagree to them being added to the top Brummies list?

Bannion

Did you know that our future queen Kate Middleton was related to Neville Chamberlain and therefore can be claimed as a Brummy. Not that you will see me waving much if I'm still around when she is crowned.
Phil died in 2020. RIP.

Getting back to the subject of the great Les Ross, does anyone remember the long running radio soap "Lord Lodge - the lodge where Lady Lord lived" - nim nim nim...
