Previously known throughout the area as the Gypsy's Tent. Why do large companies change a well known name of a pub when they take it over?

Ian in my experience the name changing of a pub generally means it will close down within six months.
Phil died in 2020. RIP.

Ian what I would like to know is why do brewers have to change the way that beer is pulled. Example after being a BrewX1 drinker for years it suddenly became extinct, or so I was told . Then lo and behold  I was in "The Old Horns " and they were serving it quite freely on the old pull , some months later it appeared down " The Bell" Birmingham Road, so I ordered a pint never again they had put on this smoothflow crack it was horrible , my psychology is if it ain't broke don't try to fix it . Plus I reckon the bloke that invented this smoothflow and widget gimmicks ought to be shot . Beer in my opinion doesn't need to be on a smoothpour system let the beer be normal .
If voting made any difference , they wouldn't let us do it.
