Phil have you ever thought of listing the Birmingham Pubs you have had a drink in ? I hopefully intend to do this and I will also include pubs I have been in Norfolk while on holiday

Believe me if I were to list the pubs I had been in just in Birmingham, it would take me forever. Then I would have to list the pubs on the SW coast, then Bristol, then London (saaf of the river) then there would be quite a few in Lincolnshire and Scotland. Then there would be all the pubs that I have no recollection of being in. Need I go on?

I tell you what I will do and that is a list of some of the best and worst pubs in Birmingham in the 60's & 70's, posters may not agree with my choice, but they will be my opinion and I will give the reason why.
