I was at the Orange Tree earlier this year, ales service and food enjoyed by all but gets busy Sunday so anybody wanting Sunday Roast best book ahead.
Plenty of scope for canal walks

The Orange Tree is that on the road to Kenilworth, if so we have been there for meals many years ago.Didn't a king hide in the Orange tree.

Nathan thanks for new walk idea from White Lion but 6 miles is about my limit now so I'd have to try Saracens Head with transport.
Thanks for reminding me of that little donkey, maybe he gets called allsorts.

we off to queens head meriden this week , doing a 5 mile round trip south, Myself I like to go north towards corley bull&butcher i think?

We use this when the weather is bad, catch a 71,72,or 957 bus,to the rover works solihull, follow towpath to knowle, up to the wilsons arms.then the number 3 bus stop is opposite the wilsons arms, back to solihull, check number 3 bus for changes
