Hi, Dek

This photo, given what you have said, shows your old home in Erskine St., by the Adelaide.

Yes Tony I have this one our House is the one in the middle our entrance is right opposite the telegraph pole we used to use the light of the lamp post to light up the front room to save lecky the little girl is one of my sisters (we are not sure which as my mom had them one after the other they look very much alike even now and there was less than 3 years between them and they also had hand me down cloths). Maybe if I could find out the year it was taken I could work out which one it is. Dek

Phil that car gave me a lot of grief I worked 7 days a week for 18 months to save up and buy it i was only about 20 at the time (it lasted no more than 6 months) I ended up crashing into one of the old tram posts on Bordesley Green East just past the Ritz right by the river in the fog spent the next 4 months in traction in East B,ham Hosi. Those were the days before the blow in a bag began, in those days I did drink and drive I drank Ansells that night they ran out and I had to go on the M&Bs (it used to give me double vision }that was my excuse)in truth i had drank to much i learnt a very painful lesson and I very rarely drink at all now. Vauxonion,
I was interested to see the photo of the Adelaide I used it on a regular basis from 1956-1967? [I thought it closed then]. Stan Capewell was the manager. You also showed the street oppisite,I thought St.James Street was in that location where a couple of my mates lived.Perhaps someone could bring me up to date. Time plays tricks with your memories as you get older.
