Agree with Maltablue David Unsworth played for Villa for a very short time [something like a month] before returning to Everton. He went on to play for various other teams West Ham Huddersfield etc. Moved to Preston N E as coach and as Caretaker Manager[ twice] back to Everton as U21 coach. Was appointed Caretaker Manager when Roberto Martinez was sacked and has now reverted to a Coaching Role at Everton.
Pretty sure that he was born in Chorley Lancs

David Unsworth wasn't born until 1973 so I don't see how he could be playing professional football in the 70s.

Lee Unsworth also a professional footballer playing for Crewe was also not born until 1973.

Not everyone on this forum is a midland club supporter. I would have expected anyone who wanted to pay their condolences to Cyrille Regis would have posted in the thread Another one gone not Football player from the 70s Unsworth.
