My Dad was born at number 2 Marshall Street South in 1912 - (Mother Elizabeth & father Samuel) Around 1960’s he had a Scrap Metal Yard on the Stratford Road in the Spark-brook area
His name was William (Bill) Hughes - I don’t remember the yard but was told there were 2 large wooden gates on the front - wonder if anyone remembers it?
