I am trying to find where my wife lived back in the early forties, she was born in 1942 and lived in a three story house next to a shop, Vauxhall end, she now has dementia and I feel that this connection may help

Hi odbobwhat was her maiden name. I was born in 1939 and lived at 183 INKERMAN St opposite a shop called PICKFORDS. There wasa 3 stories house next to it next door was a family called the FRYERS. TOMMY WAS MY MATE. Next door to PICKFORDS WAS MARSDENS THE BOOKIES.
HOPE THIS HELPS. Others around were the Bowdens, Wards, Rounds, Crossleys, and of cause the Fifield.

were they three storey houses opposite, if so, this sounds good, she is very clear about her bedroom, and play room being on the top floor, with mom and dad's bedroom under and living room/kitchen ground floor
