The numbering is slightly complicated, because between 1895 and 1896 the numbering of Vauxhall road changed from consecutive (1,2,3,4… down onw side and up the other) to odd numbers one side, even the other. So numbering after 1896 will be different to that before
The Whites 1873 directory , which is probably a bit more comprehensive than others at this time, lists 76 as Benjamin Saunders, manager, and 77 as Henry Suanders, brassfounder. The 1872 PO directory just lists Henry Saunders at 77. a map showing the buildings in c 1886-8 shows 76,77 in red, with Vauxhall works (brassworks) at 87 and Adelaide arms at 72 at bottom
