I remember when we played football for the schools in the 50s after the match we would find a WIMBUSH shop and buy a crusty batch round bread

       LOVELY😋😋
Make every day a day to remember
Because this ain't no rehearsal
And you ain't coming back

I worked at wimbush acocks green, on Warwick road by where wilko is now. I worked there till 1973 and it was knocked down. There were 2 wimbushes in acocks green at the time, the other was by where subway is now, and I remember mr Eades. My first supervisor was Mrs Williams, followed by mrs Towers. Good job really, but you can't choose your workmates, unfortunately.
