Hello Edmund, Thank you for the warm welcome. I was at Fishers from 76 to 80. As an apprentice (electrician) we moved from block to block for part of our training. The training manager was Arthur Wooley. The electrical training supervisor was Vic Clifford.  After I got certified I worked in C Block, on the presses. The supervisors name was Brian, and I remember one of the electricians was named Freddy Bamfield.

Hi Steve I was a spot welder on the 1800 body sides on nights for 6 years.
I new a few of the press operators in D block.
Do you remember the one who murdered his wife for having an affair while he was on nights
Left because of time lost over disputes. Keep well ED

I was at Fishers from 1968 to 1979 as a sheet metal worker I enjoyed my time there.    O0

Hi everyone. I joined the Forum today. I lived in Sutton Coldfield upto the age of about 10 before moving to Cornwall. I went to Boldmere Infant and Junior Schools.
